Tru Cabinetry Adds Capacity ASHLAND, AL — Tru Cabinetry, a brand of Tru-Wood Cabinet Company LLC, has added pro- duction capacity through the addition of a second shift in its paint finishing department, a new CNC machining center and various other operations, the company announced. The addition of 46 new jobs, initially expected to increase capacity by 20% once opera- tional, was dictated by a growth in demand of the company's semi-custom cabinet line, cor- porate officials said. "The substantial gains we have made in the market re- flect the focus we have placed on refreshing our product line and delivering on the expecta- tions our customers demand," said company President Butch Re i m e r. " We ' re fo c u s e d o n keeping up with capacity re- quirements, but doing it in a manner that assures our customers that we're going to continue to service them in a way they've come to expect." Tru Cabinetry, formerly known as Tru-Wood Cabinet Company, was founded in 1990 and acquired three years ago by United Cabinet Holdings. Since then, the company has under- gone a major rebranding that included a new logo and product lineup with more than 40 door styles in maple, oak and cherry, and more than 60 finish combinations. The company operates three sites en- compassing more than 370,000 sq. ft. in manufacturing space, a distribution cen- ter and trucking company, officials added. Jacuzzi Hosts Anniversary Bash CHINO HILLS, CA — As part of its 60th Anniversary celebra- tion, Jacuzzi Luxury Bath recently hosted an event in the newly opened Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, GA. "The ultra-elegant and ideal- ly located Ferguson showroom served as the perfect locale for our event," said Kristina Spindler, director of marketing for Jacuzzi Luxury Bath. The location for the event was driven by the fact that Jacuzzi Luxury Bath's man- ufacturing facility is located in Valdosta, GA. Attendees included interior designers, architects and other key industry influencers. "We shared the history of the Ja- cuzzi Brand – how and why the company came to be – and the progression of our product of- fering over the past six decades," added Joseph Davis, president of Jacuzzi Luxury Bath. Guests were treated to a brunch buffet and mimosas as they roamed the showroom to learn about Jacuzzi products and mingled with key Jacuzzi and Ferguson associates.
