Duravit Issues Last Call for Entries Duluth, GA — Duravit USA has announced its last call for entries for the company's Duravit Designer Dream Bath Competition, with all submissions due by September 16. The competition, which invites designers to submit their own personal bathrooms for a chance to win a top prize valued at $15,000, is open to all North American-based architects and designers. Submissions must incorporate one of the collections from Duravit's 2013 launches, including the Starck 2, Happy D.2 and DuraStyle, and all submissions will be judged nuHaus Opens Showroom Chicago, IL — nuHaus recently announced the grand opening of its Chicago showroom at 120 W. Hubbard St., in the heart of the River North design district. Previously based in Highland Park on Chicago's North Shore, the new 5,000-sq.-ft. showroom and design studio will serve as the company's headquarters location. The goal of the new showroom is to demonstrate the full range of our capabilities, cater to the needs of our clients and design partners and ensure greater convenience and complete satisfaction," said Doug Durbin, who co-owns the company with his brother John Durbin. "Along the way, we hope to advance and celebrate the practice of fne cabinetry and kitchen design and share the passion and enthusiasm we bring to all of our projects," he added. The new showroom includes fve distinct vignettes designed to appeal to a range of tastes and styles, according to the Durbins, and features exclusive new products, including the North American showroom debut of the Scanomat TopBrewer, a cofee delivery system that's designed to be built into any tabletop or counter and controlled by an iPad or iPhone. by a panel of design experts based on creativity, use of the Duravit product to overcome design challenges and overall success of the reimagined space. The top winner will be awarded the Duravit items used in the project up to a value of $15,000, while three other submissions will receive honorable mentions.
