Industry Update { Noteworthy developments impacting the kitchen and bath market } Cosentino to Relocate Corporate Ofce Staford, TX — Cosentino, the family-owned manufacturer of quartz, natural stone and recycled surfaces, will be relocating its corporate ofce from Staford to Sugar Land, TX this fall, the company announced. The move comes at a time of substantial growth for the company, following a multi-million dollar investment for the launch of Dekton by Cosentino, the largest new product undertaking and expansion initiative for Cosentino since its development of Silestone natural quartz. "We are thrilled to be transitioning into a space that will allow our employees and our company to grow and adapt to the industry's changing needs," said Cosentino President and CEO Eduardo Cosentino. The new U.S. Cosentino headquarters, located at 2245 Texas Avenue in Sugar Land, Texas, will offer an additional 5,000 square feet to meet space needs for the growing number of corporate employees, in addition to featuring open rooms designed to foster collaboration and teamwork, the company reports. Additionally, the 25,000-sq.-ft. offce will include support facilities for employees and customers, earning the space the new name of the "Cosentino Support Center." Similar to the company's concept of worldwide "Cosentino Centers," which are designed to serve as more than a traditional showroom, the "Cosentino Support Center" will include areas designed to support, promote and educate employees, customers and trade professionals by integrating a large training auditorium and a fully functioning kitchen to provide workspaces for demonstrations, events and more. The ofces will also include a recreational center and 600-sq.-ft. lounge designed for employee use, as well as a working kitchen outftted by Poggenpohl cabinetry, Cosentino's official nationwide showroom partner.
