18 Kitchen & Bath Design News • May 2018 Circle No. XX on Product Card NKBA Thirty Under 30 Nominations Open HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — The National Kitchen & Bath Association is looking for the next members of its Thirty Under 30 Program, which is designed to celebrate outstanding young professionals who possess the passion, creativity and brilliance to be the voices of the next generation of kitchen and bath experts. Nominations are being accepted through Friday, July 9, 2018. Those selected will be honored at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show in Las Vegas, Feb. 19-21, 2019. There, they will help identify significant trends, innovation and technology, sustainable business practices and emerging business models, as well as meet peers and network with established industry leaders. To be eligible, individuals must be working in the kitchen and bath industry in any capacity, from designer or remodeler to retailer, marketer, manufacturer or another business role. They must have been born after Feb. 19, 1989, be interested in furthering their career in this field and be supported by their current employer to participate in the program. Most importantly, they must be outgoing and have demonstrated their energy and enthusiasm for this industry, notes NKBA. Industry professionals may nominate a colleague or enter directly. Nominators are encouraged to list accomplishments and awards for work in the kitchen and bath industry including: sales and marketing accomplishments; industry-related certifications; community service and charity involvement; NKBA Chapter ac- tivities, officer positions held and other industry association memberships, and solutions and improvements brought to the job. Recipients receive a free trip to KBIS 2019; KBIS show floor pass, conference pass and access to a keynote session; media exposure and awareness among top design and trade professionals, and access to pre- and post-event networking activities.
