Alto WHAT IT IS: An app to organize emails WHAT IT DOES: Alto consolidates emails from various accounts (Google, AOL, Yahoo!, Outlook, iCloud, etc.) into one feed and gives users the opportunity to organize emails into stacks across accounts. Custom message actions makes it user friendly. It also collects photos from emails into a library that is ac- cessible from any app on the device, making it easier to find photos from emails. Drawing from email content, Alto creates cards with the vital details to be seen at a glance, as well as forming a schedule based on email content. Alto can be integrated and used with other apps and technol- ogy such as Alexa and Slack. WHO IT'S FOR: Designers, architects and anyone who wants to organize and simplify email access. WHY KITCHEN AND BATH DESIGNERS NEED IT: This app allows users to create custom stacks for various design or architectural projects happening simultaneously. The email photo library, drawn from across various email accounts, creates more readily accessible design photos or layouts for meetings rather than having to dig through emails. Shopping alerts pull content from shipping emails to let users know if a package has been delayed or delivered early, allowing designers know if clients or project sites have received furniture or other shipments without worry of missing the email. AVAILABLE SINCE: 2017 WHO MAKES IT: AOL Inc. PLATFORM(S): iOS for iPhone and iPad, Android OS WHERE TO FIND IT: On the iTunes Store, on Google Play Pair WHAT IT IS: An app to view furniture possibilities in the user's space. Providing both snapshot and live mode, the app also contains a furniture catalog that users can access. Snap- shot mode allows users to capture the space with a photo and add or change furniture later to show to clients, designers, friends or family. Live mode utilizes augmented reality, letting the user 'walk around' and view the product in the space. WHO IT'S FOR: Designers and homeowners WHY KITCHEN AND BATH DESIGNERS NEED IT: This app allows designers or homeowners to organize and design furniture in a kitchen or bath to scale. This helps designers and their clients visualize the space as it would look with furniture placed. Users are able to virtually bring multiple furniture styles into their kitchen and bath projects to see what fits best. AVAILABLE SINCE: 2016 WHO MAKES IT: Pair Inc. Shapr reviews the users' previous matches to find smarter matches based on tagged interests, lo- cation and professional experience.
