Tile of Spain Names Contest Winners MIAMI, FL — Tile of Spain, representing 125 tile manufacturers belonging to the Spanish Ceramic Tile Manufacturers Association (ASCER), announced the winners of the 14th Annual Tile of Spain Awards in the categories of architecture and interior design. Also included was a "fnal degree" category for graduate architecture students. Architecture Category Winners • Fi r s t p r i ze : " Pa b e l l ó n D o ce n t e Po l i va l e n t e E s co l a G av i n a " by Carmen Martínez Gregori, Carmel Gradolo Martinez and Arturo Sanz Martínez. • Honorable Mention: "Parking Saint Roch" by Archikubik (Miguel Lacasta, Marc Chalamanch, Carmen Santana). Interior Design Category Winners • First prize: "Blue Wave Cocktail Bar" by Equipo Creativo. • Honorable Mentions: "Restau- ra n t e D i s f r u t a r,"a l s o f ro m E l Eq u i p o C re a t i vo ; "L'At i c Vernacle"from El Fabricante de Espheras. Final Degree Project Category Winners • First prize: "Transient Refurbish- ment" by Laura Alonso Blascoof of the ETSA School of Architec- ture in Madrid. • Honorable Mentions: "Paseo Marítimo de Mataró" by Hector Durán Sánchez, University in Girona; "Archaeological Cen- ter in the Alhambra" by Agustín Gor Gómez from the Archi- tectural School in Granada; "A story of integral rehabilita- tion, recreating a landscape that never was" by Jorge Borondo Pérez-Gómez, San Pablo Uni- versity CEU Madrid. Rev-A-Shelf Sponsors Charity LOUISVILLE, KY —Rev-A-Shelf recently announced a three-year national partnership with the non- profit organization, Homes for Our Troops, which builds special- ly adapted, mortgage-free homes nationwide for the most severely injured veterans of post-9/11, to enable them to rebuild their lives. Rev-A-Shelf will work with Homes for Our Troops' veterans and general contractors to furnish all homes with cabinet storage and organization accessories, provid- ing optimal accessibility for veteran home recipients.
