Cosentino 2015 Kitchen And Bath of the Year COSENTINO MARKED THE close of the year by announcing the winners of its 2015 Kitchen and Bath of the Year contest. The competition featured projects completed between January 1, 2015 and November 30, 2015, and all entries must have featured the company's Silestone or Dekton material in the design. The award winner in the Kitchen category was Laura Burleson of Virginia Beach, VA, while the bath award recipient was Alena Capra, CKD, CBD, of Boca Raton, FL. Both honorees were awarded an all-inclusive trip to Las Vegas to attend KBIS later this month, where they will receive special recognition by Cosentino. Soothing grey, cream and black hues blend together in Cosentino's choice for its top pick in the bath category, designed by Alena Capra, CKD, CBD of Boca Raton, FL. Silestone's richly toned Carbono surface tops a white vanity, which features two square sinks paired with contemporary faucets. Large-scale grey tile on the foor and walls anchors the space, and provides a dramatic backdrop for the creamy tones of tile by the freestanding tub and shower. White is anything but standard in this Cosentino award-winning kitchen by Laura Burleson of Virginia Beach, VA. White cabinets designed by KDW Home are topped with Dekton Entzo on both islands and along the perimeter, with the marble- inspired slab also running up the backsplash wall. A retro white range and hood are dramatically trimmed in brass tones, which are continued in the cabinet hardware and light fxtures.
