projects in other countries can present addi- tional complications; however, they do not shy away from a challenge. The company recently undertook a remodel of all of the kitchens and bathrooms in an 86-unit apartment building in Trinidad and Tobago. "With all of the difculties of doing a job in Trinidad and Tobago, we put together efcient logistics: We manufactured the doors in China, we brought the kitchens from Germany, the same [for] all of the cabinetry and fooring, and fnishes from Turkey and Spain. It was a very nice project – we're very proud of it," adds Luis. While the company caters to clients from around the globe, much of its success is based on repeat local customers. For example, the cli- ent who commissioned the Fisher Island project sold the condo and purchased a 17,000-sq.-ft. house in the Gables Estates area of Miami. Those marketing eforts have already resulted in new business: Someone who saw the agency's press release on the award-winning Fisher Island condo has now commissioned hausscape to do their kitchen. Their architectural background came into play as they faced a logistical plumbing issue that required some creative rethinking in order to fnd a solution. They turned the prob- lem into a design feature by adding a special wall that hid the water supply and drain pipes.
