12 | Kitchen & Bath Design News | February 2015 Industry Update { Noteworthy developments impacting the kitchen and bath market } ROHL Honored With Crystal Vision Award Irvine, CA — In recognition of its outstanding commitment to helping families stricken by poverty throughout the U.S., international aid or- ganization World Vision presented ROHL its annual Crystal Vision Award. The award was presented to ROHL at the 2015 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show in Las Vegas, NV last month. ROHL, based in Irvine, CA, is a longtime sup- porter of World Vision Storehouse, having donated kitchen and bath faucets and fxtures for distribu- tion to those in need since 2011. "We are honored to receive the Crystal Vision Award from Storehouse of World Vision. Our part- nership with the organization is a core part of our corporate stewardship and social responsibility," said Lou Rohl, CEO and managing partner, ROHL. "As a family owned business, knowing our prod- ucts are helping families struggling with poverty in the U.S. to rebuild their homes, and their lives, is gratifying." "It is through our corporate supporters, like ROHL, who help to make the Storehouse program such a vital resource to millions of people," said Efraín Pérez, Jr., manager of corporate engagement, World Vision. "Their commitment to improve peo- ple's quality of life and transform houses into homes is unrivaled. We could not be prouder to partner with ROHL to bring critically needed supplies to the thousands of families World Vision serves." The Storehouse of World Vision is a network of six warehouses across the U.S. that receives corpo- rate donations of goods that are made available to local non-proft organizations to aid more than 2.2 million people in low-income communities. Rev-A-Shelf Opens Headquarters Louisville, KY — Rev-A-Shelf, LLC has opened its state-of-the-art worldwide headquarters at 12400 Earl Jones Way in Louisville, KY. A ribbon-cutting ceremony on January 27 marked the official opening of the facility. In attendance were Louisville Mayor Greg Fisher; Joe Kelley, president of Kelley Construction; John Hawkins, president of Kovert Hawkins, and Tom Simpson, general manager of Kovert Hawkins. "The concept for the new 315,000-sq.-ft. facility started over four years ago to improve efciencies and support company growth," said David Noe, general manager of Rev-A-Shelf. "We are proud to share this milestone with our employees, our customers and the community. We are very excited to see this project come to fruition." The company's former facility, located on Plantside Drive in Jefersontown, KY, was 95,000 square feet. In addition to being substantially larger, the new space boasts a new L.E.D. test- ing lab and seven conference/training rooms. In addition, 95,000 square feet of additional land is earmarked for future expansion.
