Circle No. 8 on Product Card Basco Hosts Showroom Council Mason, OH — Basco Manufac- turing Co. hosted its inaugural Showroom Council event on June 4-6 at the company's headquar- ters in Cincinnati, OH. The three-day event was a kick of to the company's newly devel- oped Showroom Council, where Basco appointed 10 plumbing wholesale professionals heavily involved in showroom manage- ment and sales to participate for a one-year term. The objective of the council is to share industry trends and thought leadership on a variety of industry topics that the company will integrate into its future product development and marketing programs. "Having the opportunity to di- rectly engage with leaders within our space to gain a frst-hand un- derstanding of how our products and brand supports the growth of their business is invaluable," said Don Gamble, exec. v.p. of sales & marketing. Doug Mockett Call for Entries Manhattan Beach, CA — Doug Mockett & Co. is now accepting entries for its An- nual Design Competition. Winners will each receive a $1,000 prize, an engraved trophy and royalties based on sales of the design they submit, which will be intro- duced as a product from the company. Entries should include a written description of the product, and drawings or models of the project are recommended.
