Industry Update { Noteworthy developments impacting the kitchen and bath market } New York City Event Celebrates the Italian Kitchen New York, NY — New York City's trendy Chelsea neighborhood was the setting for an evening this fall that was dedicated to the excellence of Italian kitchen design. Sponsored by FederlegnoArredo and Cosmit, the event – "Kitchen, Soul, Design: L'Italia che Vive," took place at Loft Eleven/Studio 450. Included in the versatile gathering of prestigious New York-based luminaries were special guests, including Fern Mallis, president, Fern Mallis LLC; Adam Tihany, interior Designer; Dino Borri, international brand ambassador for Eataly; Cesare Casella, chef and restaurateur; Julio Braga, president-elect IIDA LEED AP, and Radan Tukan Hok, director of Hospitality Global. The guests staged an innovative culinary performance in a specially designed kitchen, thus interpreting the "Kitchen, Soul, Design: L'Italia che Vive" project essence to the audience.
