Minneapolis Set as Site for KBDN Seminar EVANSTON, IL — Minneapolis will be the location next month for the fourth in a six-city series of seminars being presented by Kitchen & Bath Design News in key U.S. markets throughout 2019. KBDN's exclusive series of in-depth seminars – "Inspiring Clients: The Very Latest Design, Product and Marketing Trends" – will resume, after a two-month summer hiatus, on Thursday, Sept. 19 at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis. Corporate sponsors of the program include Liebherr, Rev-A-Shelf, Showplace Cabinetry and Wellborn Cabinets. Additional seminars are scheduled for Oct. 24 in Chicago and Nov. 14 in Washington, DC. Hotel locations will be announced. Aimed at kitchen and bath design professionals seeking to sharpen their design and product trend knowledge, KBDN's seminar series will offer winning combi - nations of concepts, colors, textures, lighting and more to best fit the needs of today's most discerning clients. In addition, attendees will also be exposed to deeper explorations of emerging marketing technologies – from making the most of websites to exploring new ways to create video to fully utilizing social media/ online design platforms. The design and product trends segments of the seminars will once again be pre- sented by Richard Anuszkiewicz, an award-winning designer. Also returning to the seminar series will be KBDN business and technology columnist Eric Schimelpfenig, whose portion of the program will focus on how best to make the most of the latest marketing tools, particularly involving video, social media and website content. Attendees will have the opportunity to earn CEU credits from the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) and the National Association of the Remod- eling Industry (NARI). The 2019 edition of Cersaie is scheduled for Sept. 23-27 at the Bologna Exhibition Center in Bologna. The five-day event, now in its 37th year, will include product exhibits, CEU-accredited educational programming for architects and designers, training courses and a variety of social and networking events, show organizers said. Cersaie is organized by Edi.Cer SpA and promoted by Confindustria Ceramica in col- laboration with Bologna Fiere. Information can be obtained by visiting Würth Baer Granted Product Import Rights VERNON HILLS, IL — Würth Baer Supply Company, the Vernon Hills, IL-based wholesale distributor to the cabinet manufacturing and woodworking industries, has been granted exclusive U.S. import rights for specific Gannomat Machinery products, the company announced. Gannomat is well known for its cabinet case clamps and high-precision dowel boring and insertion machines, among other products aimed at manufacturers and cabinet shops. Würth Baer Supply Company, a division of Würth Craft Line North America, said that the company, along with its Akins Machinery Division and Sterling, VA- based partner Tritec Associates Inc. team, will work under the Würth Baer Supply Company/Akins Machinery banner going forward.
