match dark with light and cool with warm by incorporating multiple pnishes in the same space.��� TOUCH TECHNOLOGIES In recent years, there has been more talk about touch technology in faucets ��� whether hands-free or operated by a simple touch. Emmons says that, to date, touch faucet technology seems to have only had moderate success in the market. However, he says, he expects this technology to continue to increase in popularity, at a slow growth rate. Bob Rodenbeck, director of research and development at Delta Faucet Co., says touch technologies are increasing in popularity because they bring ease of use, convenience and functionality to the kitchen. They also help save water. ���Faucets featuring these technologies are very easy to turn on and o���, with consumers more likely to turn the water o��� between tasks. This technology also employs an automatic shuto��� feature so the water turns o��� when it���s not needed,��� he adds. Kohler���s newly launched Sensate touchless kitchen faucet was also designed to free up hands to allow for easily moving between tasks without having to stop and turn the water on and o���. ���Response, the technology we developed for Sensate, is incredibly precise; the sensor responds in 20 millisec- The 2013 Axor Pot Fillers from Hansgrohe were developed by long-time Axor designer partner Philippe Starck. The Axor Pot Filler comes in wall-mounted or deck-mounted versions. Finishes include Chrome and Steel Optik. Circle No. 169 on Product Card Dornbracht���s eno kitchen faucet, created by Sieger Design, features sleek, minimalistic styling combined with smart functionality. Unlike typical faucets, when the eno lever is set at a 90�� angle to its tubular body and spout, only a stream of cold water qows, rather than a mix of cold and hot. Users must consciously choose and direct the lever to deliver warmer temperatures, reducing energy. The faucet is available in Chrome and Platinum Matte. Circle No. 170 on Product Card La Cornue has added eight exclusive handmade preclay sinks to its Culinary Architecture collection of products, designed to embrace the French lifestyle throughout the kitchen. Each Culinary Architecture sink is an individual piece created by master craftsmen using timehonored techniques and French clay from Bordeaux. Featuring a distinctive quted front, the Vasque farmhouse sink, shown, comes in three models. Circle No. 171 on Product Card The Quince kitchen faucet from American Standard features an ergonomic and qexible spray head in a metal swivel spout that includes washerless ceramic disc valve. There are also plenty of choices for faucet styles and shapes, as well as work space conpgurations to best suit users��� needs. With a move toward smaller kitchens, work areas must be adjusted accordingly. ���Gone are the days of the ���McMansion,������ says Lord. ���People are ���right sizing��� their homes with spaces that pt their lifestyles without a lot of excess. As a result, interior elements that take up less physical and visual space are increasing in demand.��� Single-handle, single-hole mount kitchen faucets can help meet this need, he says, taking up minimal counter space while Artisan Manufacturing Corp. has introduced three lines of stainless-steel sinks custom designed for the Frigidaire brand. The 16- and 18-gauge versions are 10"-deep undermount sinks that are resistant to stains and corrosion. The Chef Pro collection is designed for spaces where depth and higher bowl volume are needed. With a 10" bowl, undermount models in this line feature 16-gauge thickness and 304 commercial-grade steel. Circle No. 173 on Product Card Karran USA���s E-550 model is designed for seamless integration in solid surface. The stainless steel sink���s resin rim allows it to be seamlessly bonded to all solid surfaces. Circle No. 174 on Product Card With its industrial heritage, the Gessi Oxygene high-arc threehole faucet features a pull-out and 360�� swiveling spout with 3/8" qexible connections. It comes in Chrome and Stainless, all on solid brass. The red handles are reminiscent of factory valves. Oxygene also comes in a singlehandle pull-out version. Circle No. 178 on Product Card Newport Brass has added six kitchen faucets and two complete suites of kitchen products to its line. A pulldown faucet has been added to the company���s Nadya line of faucets, which features a qowing silhouette and qowerlike body. Featuring solid brass construction, the faucet line is available in 27 pnishes. Circle No. 175 on Product Card InSinkErator o���ers Indulge Modern, an instant hot water dispenser that dispenses 200�� Fahrenheit water and cool pltered water on demand from a single handle. The Stay-on feature allows the faucet to remain open for easy dispensing of cool water. Circle No. 179 on Product Card This custom-built, stainless steel countertop from SpecialtyStainless.com incorporates an integral handcrafted stainless steel sink with cove corners, an integral recessed pitched drainboard and full-length integral backsplash.
