18. Included in the Panasonic Eco Solutions of North America portfolio is the WhisperGreen Select, part of the line of the company's WhisperGreen vent fans. The WhisperGreen Select features two new technologies, 'Pick-A-Flow' and 'Plug and Play,' allowing for customization of the vent fan for a variety of applications. The fan also includes a motion sensor that senses when some- one enters the room, a condensation sensor that causes the fan to go on when there is excessive moisture, and an LED nightlight. Circle No. 212 on Product Card 19. The Viking Rear Downdrafts capture smoke and odors right at the cooking surface and remove them from the air. The downdrafts coordinate with all Viking cooktops, ranges and rangetops, and are available in 30", 36", 45" and 48" sizes. Circle No. 213 on Product Card 20. Whirlpool's 1.1-cu.-ft. Low Profile Microwave Hood Combination is small enough to fit in the same space as an undercabinet hood, yet large enough on the interior to fit tall glasses, wide plates and big bowls. Gaggenau's VL 414 downdraft ventilation fits seamlessly into any of the company's Vario 400 series cooktop, offering odor and vapor removal using the same stainless steel controls as the cooktops. The flap and filter reduce noise and improve airflow through the space-saving flat duct system, notes the firm. The activated charcoal filters offer enhanced air quality, according to the company. The black stainless steel hoods are available in 30", 36" and 48" sizes. A three- speed touch control and commercial-style stainless steel baffle filters are included. Bosch includes 30" and 36" 800 Series Downdraft hoods in its ventilation line-up. The distinctive front panel design conceals the mesh filters, allowing for seamless integration, and acts as a splatter guard when cooking.
