DURAVIT USA RECENTLY named the winners of its sixth annu- al Designer Dream Bath Competition, selecting one winner and two honorable mentions for both the Built and the Unbuilt categories. The 2018 contest encouraged designers and architects to creatively show- case a dream bathroom envisioned with Duravit products. For the Unbuilt category, Duravit requested a sketch or rendering of the en- trant's own bathroom reimagined using the company's latest furniture series – XSquare and Brioso – in the design. The winner of the Unbuilt Dream Bath Competition was Frevent Design, with honorable mentions given to OAD Interiors and AD-WO. The winner received $10,000 in Duravit product to make the dream bath a reality. The Built category sought out projects completed within the last five years that feature Duravit fixtures. Top honors went to David Gonzalez-Blanco of Billy Blanco Designs, with honorable mentions given to firms White Arrow and Falken Reynolds. Gonzalez Blanco received $5,000 in Duravit credit for his design. ▪ Bath Designs Deliver Modern Touches BY ANITA SHAW UNBUILT WINNER BUILT WINNER The winners of Duravit's Designer Dream Bath Com- petition showcased simple yet luxurious spas, clever space-saving solutions and bold tile selections.
