The acquisition combines the two industry leaders in archi- tectural wood door businesses, notes VT Industries. The firm notes that the newly owned mine yields some of the highest-quality quartz available. This new business expansion has allowed Cambria to control every step of the process, with the ability to see raw materials through quartz procurement, inspection and quality checks at the mine itself. The acquisition allows the company to handpick quartz at the mine, which will influence the innovation seen in future Cambria designs, the firm adds.
