Duravit Calls For 2018 Designer Dream Bath Competition Entries DULUTH, GA — Duravit has opened its 2018 Designer Dream Bath Competition and is now accepting submissions. In its sixth year, the contest honors designers and architects who creatively showcase a dream bathroom en- visioned with Duravit products, and includes both a Built and Unbuilt category. For the Unbuilt category, Duravit is asking designers to submit a sketch or rendering of their own bathrooms reimagined, incorporat- ing Duravit's latest furniture series – XSquare and Brioso – into their design. The winner of the Unbuilt Dream Bath Competition will receive the Duravit products included in their design at a value of up to $10,000. Meanwhile, the Built category will continue after its successful inception in 2015, seeking designer projects completed within the last five years that feature Duravit fixtures. The winning Built Dream Bath design will receive $5,000 in Duravit items. "Our competition prompts designers to find inspiration in the bathroom, proving how anyone's bathroom – no matter the size, location or budget – can be thoughtfully constructed to become a personal oasis," stated Duravit USA President Tim Schroeder. The competition officially closes for entries on Friday, September 7. Winners are chosen by an established panel of designers and design editors and are announced during Duravit Design Week (October 1-3, 2018) in New York City. Additional information, FAQs and forms for the competition are available online at NKBA Endorses CEDIA Technology Expo ALPHARETTA, GA — CEDIA Expo, the event for the intelligently connected built environment, has announced a collaboration and endorsement from the Nation- al Kitchen & Bath Association as the event where kitchen and bath design and remodeling professionals connect with technology integrators to learn, network and collaborate.
