When KitchenAid's stainless steel perimeter ventilation canopy hoods take in air through the perimeter, air fow is sped up to capture cooking vapors, smoke and steam from the edges of the cooktop, handling up to a 65K BTU to- tal output. The auto-speed sensing on this 36"canopy hood adjusts fan speed to help protect cabinets from potentially harmful steam, grease and odors. The wall-mount unit features 600 CFM blower, a halogen night light, LED task lighting and dishwasher-safe grease flters. The sharp, glass-touch display showcases easy-to-use touch controls. The Vent-A-Hood Designer Series of range hoods combines sleek form with function and includes the JDH/C1 canopy with unlimited options to personalize the fnished look. Fantech's new Serenity series of fans can be confgured to operate in continuous, humidity and occupancy modes. For occupancy, the fan runs for a pre-determined amount of time once the bathroom is vacant. In the humidity mode, built-in sensors activate the fan once an increase in moisture is sensed; the fan will shut of once the humidity level has returned to normal. The new ventilation 200 series products from Gaggenau includes the AF 210 visor hood with dimmable LED light. Available in 24" and 36" widths, the hoods are specially designed for discreet integration into wall cabinets. A brushed stainless steel steam screen, which extends by simply pulling the frame, and an integrated glass panel extract cooking vapors. Wolf's 42" Cooktop Island Hood is hand-fnished in heavy-duty stainless steel and black glass. Welded seams and hemmed edges give the hood a modern, sculpted appearance. With a commercial style stainless steel bafe flter system and stainless internal liner with double wall construction, this hood can accommodate top or rear discharge. Featuring a high-heat sensor safety feature, it also has a three-speed fan control. A variety of colors and fnishes are available for personal customization. Along with its new line of ranges, Miele is launching complementing ventilation options, complete with higher CFM outputs ranging from 700-1100. Assembled and milled by hand, the range hoods feature a dishwasher-safe bafe fltration system, Auto-Vent Safety Sensor that intensifes the level of extraction and LED ClearView lighting. The hoods, ofered in 30", 36" and 48", are available in M Pro Stainless Steel or as an insert.
