Arborite WHAT IT IS: A free app that allows users to access Arborite's entire lami- nate collection on a mobile device. WHAT IT DOES: Users can fnd the whole Arborite collection, color-corrected for each de- vice. In addition to browsing the laminate color collection, textures can also be perused. Techni- cal specifcations for the products are available as well. It has a "Laminate coordinator," which suggests matching colors when viewing a sample in order to provide total coordination for a room. Finally, it has a geo-localized address book, allowing users to fnd a regional sales representative. The app does not require an Internet connection to access its oferings. WHAT IT DOES: From a mo- bile device, a user can use the Hootsuite app to post on various social media platforms without having to go through each social app individually. Additionally, the app is helpful for scheduling messages to be posted in advance either one message at a time or as a slew of messages going out at diferent times. Other tools ofered are: the ability to measure social outreach and get insights on how content posted is performing; the ability to create search streams to see what is being said about one's brand, interests and competitors; and the capability to share and read content from around the world with a translation tool that addresses more than 50 languages. The free version of the app allows management of up to three social profles; the Pro and Business plans ofer more options. Hootsuite can also be used from a computer instead of a mobile device. WHAT IT DOES: Paper is an app that ofers a user-friendly way to capture notes, photos and sketches. The swipe-to-style formatting makes creating checklists and notes faster and the photo spotlight tool helps clarify details; photos can also be imported and annotated. Users can bring text, photos and sketches together in one place, creating one unifed list or document. The app's visual notes are designed to help get one's point across quickly and accurately. It is also possible to share ideas from the Paper app through professionally format- ted PDFs, Keynote and PowerPoint presentations. WHO IT'S FOR: Designers and architects who want an easy way to take notes, make checklists or sketches and annotate pictures all in one place, and create unifed documents from all of these.
