14 | Kitchen & Bath Design News | March 2015 Industry Update { Noteworthy developments impacting the kitchen and bath market } Mansfeld Adds to Homes for Heroes Perrysville, OH — Mansfeld Plumbing has committed to providing plumbing products again in 2015 for the Building Homes for Heroes program. Mansfeld plans to donate products to at least 20 homes created by the national non- proft organization for injured service men and women returning from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. "Every one of us at Mansfeld feels honored to participate in this extreme- ly worthwhile program to assist our returning veterans," says Jim Morando, president of Mansfeld Plumbing. "This organization provides specially adapt- ed homes for dozens of service people each year. The mortgage-free homes are designed to restore the individual's freedom and enable the recovering veteran to lead a more independent and productive civilian life." The frst home in 2015 provided by Building Homes for Heroes was dedicated on January 23 in Marrero, LA for Army Sergeant First Class Troy Reilly. As with other homes in the pro- gram, Reilly's house was outftted with Mansfeld plumbing products for the master bath. "We already know of 19 homes be- ing created this year that will include Mansfeld Plumbing products," says Vicky Liu, construction team leader with Building Homes for Heroes. "The donations and support of companies like Mansfeld Plumbing are critical to helping us reach our goal of provid- ing adapted living homes to as many returning veterans as possible. "Knowing that Mansfeld Plumbing constructs their products in America and is a strong believer of 'Made in America' products and workforces, makes their contribution to our eforts even more valued. We deeply appre- ciate Mansfeld Plumbing renewing their eforts as a product partner with us in 2015." During 2015, Mansfield Plumb- ing will donate toilets, lavatories and tubs to the Building Homes for Heroes program.
