December 2014 ForResidentialPros.com | 15 Kohler Honored Again by EPA Kohler, WI — For the second straight year, the Environmental Protection Agency has honored Kohler with its Sustained Excel- lence Award, recognizing the company's continuing dedication to the development and promo- tion of water-saving products and the education of consumers about water conservation issues. "To win this award for the second time is evidence of our continuing efforts in the area of water conservation and our strong, long-term asso- ciation with the EPA," says Rob Zimmerman, senior channel manager of sustainability for Kohler Co. "We have embraced the WaterSense initiatives since the very beginning, and its goals have been adopted as part of our corporate identity as a leader in this area." The EPA notes that its Water- Sense program has recognized Kohler for numerous industry- leading innovations, including the frm's development of a dual-fush trip lever for tank-type toilets. Kohler staf has also collaborated with the U.S. Green Building Council to train and certify 280 individuals as LEED Green Associates. The company also provided Wa- terSense-labeled products to the Green Builder Media's VISION House in INNOVENTIONS at Walt Disney World's Epcot in Orlando, FL, which was visited by more than 200,000 people. "Continuing to develop efficient products and engineering new ways to protect our global water supply is a long-term project for Kohler and part of our DNA as a company," comments Zimmerman. Robern Sets Brand Program Bristol, PA — Robern has launched the Brand Ambas- sador Program, which will showcase the work of 25 leading architects and interior designers. "Our Brand Ambassador Program will allow us to showcase the work of our loyal fans while introducing the brand to the next genera- tion of design professionals," stated Andrew Lippman, Robern's marketing director. Projects and content from Robern Brand Ambassadors will be featured on Robern's blog, social media and in PR initiatives. Robern Ambassadors will have personalized access to Robern's training programs and industry events. Mem- bers will collaborate on six annual blog posts, participate in cooperative Pinterest and Houzz boards and promote the brand on Twitter, Face- book and other social media channels.
