Panasonic Eco Solutions' accomplishments were rec- ognized in Washington, DC late last month. An ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year in 2010 and 2011, and Sustained Excellence Award recipient in 2012 and 2013, Panasonic Eco Solutions North America was honored with the EPA's most prestigious award for its long-term commitment to innovation and sustainability. "Panasonic Eco Solutions is proud to partner with EN- ERGY STAR again in 2014 and work together in developing high-performing, energy-efcient ventilation solutions that respect the environment and reduce costs for our customers," said Patricia Monks, product manager, Panasonic Eco Solutions North America. "The Sustained Excellence Award not only acknowledges our continued leadership in providing innovative products but also rec- ognizes our commitment to sustainability through our education initiatives and corporate outreach. Cosentino Group Gathers Top Customers New York, NY — The Cosentino Group recently held its annual "Cosentino 100" conference for its top North American customers. This year's event, which took place in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, her- alded the highest attendance ever, with more than 260 attendees from 89 independent companies. Cosentino Group President Paco Francisco Martinez-Cosentino and CEO of Cosentino North America Eduardo Martinez-Cosentino shared their vision and the company's 2014 business strategy, which includes additional expansion in North America, growing from 24 to 29 Cosentino Centers, as well as the introduction of new colors across three Cosentino brands: Silestone, Sensa and Dekton. They also shared creative ways in which Cosentino customers can distribute the varied product ofering. "The Cosentino 100 conference is a signifcant event for the Cosentino Group," said Eduardo Martinez-Cosentino. "As Cosentino deepens its presence in the North American market, C100 engages industry and thought leaders in those eforts. Through that dialogue, Cosentino can advance its mission to be a catalyst for mate- rials innovation and design exploration." In addition to furthering Cosentino's presence across North America, Cosentino plans to expand its eforts to en- gage with key industry leaders. "The debut of Dekton has sparked a renewed enthusiasm for innovation," said Lorenzo Marquez, v.p. of marketing for Cosentino North America. "Cosentino has raised the ceiling of industry innovation through its commitment to new tech- nologies, and C100 has given us the opportunity to educate our core customers as we evolve." C100 attendees were briefed on the current state of the industry and were provided with a sneak peak at new colors. Several infuential fgures in the industry addressed the conference, including CEO of ASID, Randy Fiser; CEO of NKBA, Bill Darcy; Kitchen Business Director of Kohler, John Ryan; and EVP and CEO of MIA, Jim Hieb. The four-day convention also had an educational track featuring seminars on products, marketing and relationships with architects and designers.
